All in all, just a very impressive film.

This movie is a classic love story/comedy the helped to make the careers of three prominent actors just blossom. I never lost interest. Ghost is a seminal movie that marked the transition between the eighties and nineties and was a huge hit at the time. This is by far Whoopi Goldberg's best performance. This is driven by the emotions, by how the plot affects these characters. This is a true classic and there can't be too many who haven't seen it but just in case:- Patrick Swayze is not my favourite actor by any means but in this he is great as the murdered boyfriend of Demi Moore and finds himself wandering around unseen and unheard as a ghost.

This film had me from the first few moments of it. a list of 11 images I googled to see what Oscars it won and looks like Whoopie got best supporting actor and movie got best original story something, and a few nominations for things. Add two supports, one who made you hate him on sight, as the villain, the other a well known Broadway name, but little known, other than for his 6 foot six inches of height, and we have a really great entertainment, with the highlight being the least known actor, Vicente Schiavelli, as the "Angry Ghost" from the train, a former `Mob` member who had been killed by the mob, who had him pushed in front of a subway car, who gave the best performance I have seen in years of movie-going All in all, every was very good, the story was little noticed, yet it brought forth all the moods on has

Watch this movie - this is not just a cute story, this is how earthbound sphere of Afterlife actually works, so this is not just a movie to entertain yourself, but to educate too. The sound was poor, I had to turn the volume up so high, the picture to me was very patchy, you could see the pixels.

The audience can guess that the ending will ultimately work in Sam and Molly's favor, but it isn't clear how that resolution will come to pass.

Re-watching it I realised that this story will never age, it still feels fresh and perfect. The plot is so interesting and intriguing, you can't help but watch, often at the very edge of your seat. If Whoopie got best supporting actor for making us laugh, Demi surely earned at least a nomination for making us cry in good ways. Demi Moore just shined in this film as a grieving girlfriend revisited by her boyfriend as a ghost.

Bridget Jones is determined to improve herself while she looks for love in a year in which she keeps a personal diary. Patrick Swayze portrays the distraught and totally confused ghost to perfection, Demi Moore is heartbreaking as his grief-stricken girlfriend, and Tony Goldwyn is dispicable as the friend-turned-murderer.

Patrik's acting was really good, but the star of the film is without doubt Whoppi Goldberg. Much of it is derived from the situation of Swayze's character and his interaction with environment and other characters.

I must say this film surprised me. Saddest part at the end An F.B.I. This is one of those movies that'll still be relevant and push all the emotional buttons for another hundred or thousand years.
